Fee

The first consultation with our Lawyer is free of charge. It is a practice allowing the client to present the case and find out if further actions are necessary.

During the first consultation with our client, a course of action is being presented along with potential fees for the proceedings that might be calculated. Those are being presented to the client. We go over detail cost and if possible, present a frame for additional costs that might accrue. Upon signing the contract with the Firm, the client is being provided with all the information regarding the price for the services as well as time frame needed for the case.

The cost of the legal aid provided is dependent on the nature of the case and, the amount of time needed for completion.

In Norway the base hourly rate is 1500 NOK excl. mva ( 1875 NOK incl. mva.).

Every time before the contract is being signed we analyze possibility whether or not the client’s case could be considered under the terms of free legal help offered by Norwegian authorities, which is partially or fully free of charge. Rules of that system applies only to specific cases, such as:

• NAV (denial of granting provisions)
• Divorce
• Child custody/split responsibility.
• Termination of lease for house rental or an apartment
• Termination of employment
